In the days of humanity, wolves and dogs were both considered stupid creatures. But now that World War Three has taken place and all of humanity has been wiped out, canines are the rulers of New Earth. With the radioactivity left from the war, the wolves and dogs of New Earth have changed. They are thinking machines, mutated into creatures that are just barely recognizable as what they once were. They are now at the top of the food chain, feared like humans once were, canines have taken this new found power and ruined it just like the humans.
Originally there were two packs of wolves and dogs. Both packs were run by a pair of siblings, a pair of wolf siblings and a pair of dog siblings. Though with their new found intelligence there was bound to be some problems. Jealousy and sibling rivalry began to tear the siblings apart, creating a whirlwind that sucked everyone surrounding them into the stand off.
Eventually it became too much to bear. The packs split, the original pack of Beauty became the Purity pack (a pack which only accepted wolves) and the Angelus pack (a pack which accepted all). The original pack of Blood became the Reaper pack (an only dog pack) and the Splinter pack (a pack that only accepted hybrids).
The constant fighting and truces between the packs was exhausting, and the smaller clans that got caught up in it grew tired of the warring sides. Eventually they too turned on the packs, it is a true free-for-all now. No truces are being maintained for long and all territory is considered up for grabs.
So watch where you walk, young one, be careful who you befriend and who you make an enemy. For nothing is quite as it seems in the lands of New Earth, death is right around the corner, waiting to pounce and everyone must be wary.
