♦ RESIDENCE CLAIM ♦
because no one wants to live on the street in an apocalypse.
If your character is living in the settlement, they have an array of safe living spaces to choose from! But, yes, I should mention that the nicer the place is, the more it's going to cost you. Living in the council flats is completely free though (only because they're dull, drab and really nothing special, sob) and so is living in the dormitories (except the catch is that you have to be an ex-student or of student age). Living in the flats or dormitories isn't going to get you a sub-board, I'm afraid. But if you live in a caravan, house or bungalow after paying a lump sum we'll create you a board no problemo, you just have to supply us with the image you want. We'll even crop, resize and gray-scale it for you! You can co-own properties with other characters too, you just have to specify how much money is being taken from each account.
Oh! And anyone living in a purchased property can enjoy the spoils of electricity if they buy gasoline for their generator.

DORMITORIES:
All you can expecting living here is one shared bedroom, one shared bathroom and not a lot of privacy. In each room there's two to four beds with a desk, a set of drawers and a wardrobe each. I should probably add that it's also probably the safest place to live in the whole settlement since the whole college campus is surrounded by high fences that, thanks to them, the settlement was able to be founded and then expanded into the surrounding streets.101. | open | open | open | open |

COUNCIL FLATS:
These flats are just downright depressing to live in. They're draughty, miserable and have a patch of evil-looking mold that looks more lethal than the infected outside. The walls are thin too so you can hear everything your neighbour can say (and vice versa) which could be a good thing considering there's no electric anymore to fuel your telly so you can watch your favourite daytime soaps. If you live here, expect to have to share the space, although you're already better off than the ones living in the dorms since you get your own room... unless you're the poor sod that gets there last and has to sleep on the sofa.1A. | open | open | open |

CARAVAN:
After paying £1000 your character will be able to live in a caravan which still smells of its previous owner! Lucky them! It has a dinky kitchen, a dinky sitting area and dinky sleeping quarters; everything about this place is dinky. I hope you weren't hoping for more than one person to live here or they're going to feel very cramped very quickly. The good thing about owning a caravan though? You can take this gas-guzzler anywhere! You'll get a sub-board for your caravan wherever you feel like having it but bear in mind that it'll cost five gallons of gasoline to move it anywhere. I wasn't kidding when I said this thing was a gas-guzzler.TERRACED HOUSE:
After paying £2500 your character will own one of these nice houses! Only one thousand quid? Cheap, right? It was safe to say that the housing market crashed when everyone started dying left, right and center. But, anyway, your character will own a very nice two-bedroom house spanning over two floors with a cute, little garden to go with it. BUNGALOW:
After paying £3500 your character will have their very own bungalow! It's still a bit on the small side but it's a hell of an upscale from those dreary flats your character was most likely cramped in with a stranger. It has two bedrooms, like the terraced house, a large attic and a larger garden.DETACHED HOUSE:
After paying £5000 your character will be the owner of a small mansion! Well, compared to where everybody else is living this place kinda is like a mansion. It's got a basement, a garage, a large garden (front and back) and three to four bedrooms over its two floors, not forgetting its attic either! This place is huge.
